Belgium, the home of Tintin, is located in the heart of Europe and offers rich cultural heritage, lovely nature, delicious chocolate and tasty beer.

The historic country, which is famous for its art, architecture, belfries, oil paintings as well as its manufacturing of chocolate, beer, waffles and chips, is centrally situated in Europe with boundaries towards the Netherlands, Germany, Luxembourg and France. The northern part of Belgium is called Flanders and offers art towns, green nature and a coastal stretch. The southern, sparsely populated and very scenic part is called Walloon and is characterized by the mountain range the Ardennes. The Dutch language is spoken in Flanders, whereas French is spoken in Walloon.
