This little Scandinavian country consists of Jutland, Funen and Sealand that are linked together by bridges, and of Bornholm and a very great number of islands.

One of Denmark’s very best attractions are the white sandy beaches, tempting you to swim, windsurf, play ball games and go fishing. Most of the beaches have a “Blue Flag”, that indicates clean water and coastal area.

Danish nature has many tall sand dunes, salt meadows, low marshland, moors and pastures as well as steep cliffs bordered by beechwood. On Bornholm you will find the large forest Almindingen. Close to Skagen you can climb Råbjerg Mile, the largest migrating sand hill in Denmark.

When visiting the capital Copenhagen do not miss to see the queen’s palace and the charming harbour area Nyhavn. In the city of Århus you can enjoy the cosy atmosphere in the cafés and restaurants. Here you will be served local dishes and Danish beer.
