Villa Roberta is set on the edge of a pinewood in the exclusive Rocca Mare complex, located between Castiglione della Pescaia (3 km) and Punta Ala (10 km). The nature reserve extends over an area of about 200 hectares; it is enclosed and patrolled day and night so as to allow only authorised access. Within the Villa Roberta property (about 5,000 sq m) there is also the villa of the owner, who however only normally uses it on holidays and at week-ends. Just 400 m away is the private beach with changing-rooms and straw-roofed structures providing shade from the sun. It can be reached by tarred roads unwinding through the pinewood which are also perfect for delightful walks or bike rides. The beach commands a splendid view of the mediaeval fortress of Castiglione and the reefs of the Rocchette. On clear days guests may enjoy a view stretching as far as the nearest islands, Elba, Monteargentario or the island del Giglio. Facilities for water sports.
