During the summer the beach areas of San Juan and Campello are the most popular and lively. The celebration of the bonfires of San Juan takes place on the 24 June. Other celebrations: Verbena of San Pedro (25 - 29 Jun), Moors and Christians (4-8 Dec). This is the home and the best place to enjoy the typical Valencian Paella.
