In the house: washing machine, tumble dryer (extra). Motor access to the house, except in winter 200 m (in winter snow chains necessary). Stepped path (15 steps) to the house. Parking at 200 m. Grocers 800 m, supermarket 13.5 km, restaurant, bus stop, chair lift 200 m. Please note: car essential. Lakeside bathing, 13 km.

3-room chalet 58 m2 on 2 levels, cosy furnishings: living/dining room with swedish stove, satellite-TV, radio and DVD. 1 room with 1 double bed (160 cm). Open kitchen (4 hotplates, oven, dishwasher, freezer) with dining table. Bath-room, sep. WC. On the lower ground floor: 1 room with 3 beds. Patio. Terrace furniture. Very nice panoramic view of the lake and the mountains. The room for 3 people does not have 3 separate beds but 3 mattresses together on 1 wooden frame. Access to the room on the lower floor via a steep staircase and folding doors.

Axalp 1'400 - 2'000 m. >> small, quiet, family friendly mountain village, on a plateau, in a secluded position with beautiful view, 13 km from Brienz. In the resort: grocers, restaurant. More possibilities for shopping and entertainments 13 km. Access: motorway Bern - Interlaken. Then road Interlaken - Brienz - Axalp. Access via a narrow, winding road. Access by train Bern - Interlaken - Meiringen. Railway station "Brienz". Bus service. Brienz 13 km. Meiringen 22 km. For arrivals by plane: airport Zürich (ZRH), Basel (BSL), Genève-Cointrin (GVA).
